The “Movement as Medicine” Tournament Series will be a series of high school 3x3 basketball tournaments - a new version of the classic game we all know and love. Games are a half-court race to 21 points or 10 minutes, whichever comes first, and relies on speed, skill, and teamwork to be victorious. For a more detailed explanation of the rules, please click here. The theme of the Series is to see ‘movement as medicine’, and as such, the league will incorporate cultural experiences available to teams throughout the season. More information will be communicated as it becomes available. While all high school youth are welcome, a major focus of the tournaments is to encourage Indigenous athletes to participate and, as such, any fees for these athletes who self-identify as Indigenous will be waived.
